Dr. Padma Paul

The Data Dr.

20+ years experience in AI, ML, research, and industrial software. In Alberta, he built commercial AI applications for pipeline leak detection, SAGD production optimization, emission detection, optimization of non-productive time, and several others.

B.Sc. M.Phil., and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Ranked 7th in all Computer Science Ph.D. Students for research in Computer Science and 1st in AI and Applied Machine Learning among all universities/labs in Canada. Post-Doctoral Fellow in Oxford Computational Neuroscience (OxCNL) at the University of Oxford. Fellowship at the Brain Science Foundation, US.

The ML Builder

15+ years of experience in data science and architecture in big data mining and analytics, deep machine learning, pattern recognition, digital signal processing, system design and analysis, biometrics, and IoT. Worked as Director of an Artificial Intelligence lab at ATB that applied ML in banking. First in the world work includes a conversation recommendation engine that increases the Lifetime Value of customers into a financial virtual assistant running on Facebook.

B.Sc. in Computer Science and Psychology and a M.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering. Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Professional Member of APEGA, IEEE, and ISACA.
